OFFICE manager (full-time)

The Office Manager is a crucial position at Children’s Rescue Initiative, as this person runs our central office. CRI is looking for someone who will approach each day with enthusiasm and a heart for the CRI mission to Rescue, Restore, and Raise Up™ children from labor slavery and human trafficking.

This person must be organized and able to multi-task, as well as flow with the various unexpected changes that may arise. They must have excellent writing and communication skills. Experience with design and social media is a plus. And they will need to be able to work with little to no supervision, while also supervising other members of the office. 


  • Help maintain the culture of CRI through office management
  • Respond to email inquiries and phone calls
  • Process donations
  • Oversee the CRI website and troubleshoot issues
  • Coordinate merchandise orders and shipping
  • Manage bills and invoices and categorize receipts
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Oversee permit applications
  • Manage social media
  • Create the monthly newsletter
  • Assist the Event & Outreach coordinator with training and outreach events if needed
  • Oversee interns
  • Create and send end-of-year giving letters to donors
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Handle other tasks as they arise

event & outreach coordinator (full-time)

Children’s Rescue Initiative is looking for a driven and responsible individual to fulfill the position of Event and Outreach Coordinator. CRI holds courses each year where we train potential rescue operators and SurvivorCare team members. The Event and Outreach Coordinator would work in tandem with CRI’s director to plan and implement the courses. Note that this position focuses specifically on the administrative side of training, rather than creating or presenting training content. This position also involves scheduling outreach presentations and engaging volunteers. Further details are outlined below.


  • Assist students with the application process (filling out forms, making payments, etc.)
  • Handle training details, such as compiling the student workbook, coordinating meals, making merchandise orders, etc.
  • Assist with various needs during each training, including running errands and problem-solving
  • Compile feedback from instructors and students after each course
  • Plan future training courses and needs
  • Research and schedule speaking engagements for the CRI founder
  • Follow up with venues, hosts, and donors related to training courses and speaking engagements
  • Prep outreach supplies, such as brochures, apparel, etc.
  • Assist with outreach presentations when needed
  • Communicate with the Office Manager
  • Correspond with volunteers who host fundraising events
  • Engage with potential volunteers
  • Handle other tasks as they arise


  • Past work experience as an Event Planner, Training Coordinator, Manager, or similar role
  • Past experience with administration, organization, or a similar skill-set
  • Experience leading groups of people
  • Ability to assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate
  • Proficiency with MS Office or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

This position is on-site at our office in Pennsylvania. However, the position allows for some remote work.
