Donation PolicyDonation Refund Policy
The Children’s Rescue Initiative (CRI) is a non-profit whose mission of rescuing children in slavery around the world is dependent upon the generosity and goodwill of supporters. Donations are generally non-refundable. However, if a donor requests a refund because an error was made by the donor, by CRI or another party involved in the transaction, then CRI may provide a refund via the same method the donation was made. Requests for refunds in such instances must be made in writing within 45 days of the donation. Such requests may be made by sending an email to info@thechildrensrescue.org. If the circumstances warrant a refund, it will be provided within 30 days.
Donor Restricted Donations
Many donations are restricted for specific purposes by the donor. If a donation cannot be used for its donor designated purpose, the donor will be contacted by CRI and given the option of a full or partial refund or allowing use of the funds for other CRI purposes or programs.
Recurring Donation Change or Stop Policy
You may login to your account on CRI’s website to change or stop a recurring donation. You may also contact the CRI office by sending an email to info@thechildrensrescue.org. Requests for refunds of recurring donations can only be honored for the previous month’s donation.
