Supporting Suvivors

SurvivorCare

Our Mission

To provide holistic care to survivors of slavery and human trafficking, enabling them to become empowered, successful, and thriving individuals.

Our Program

SurvivorCare exists because we know holistic aftercare is vital to the children’s well-being. Our goal is to provide an environment where they can receive the restoration, love, and support they need, so they can thrive in their new life of freedom.

Our desire is to instill in every child that they have value, they have a purpose, they have dreams, they are dearly loved, and they are worth fighting for. Our current model includes transporting children to a safe location where they receive nurturing care, nutritious meals, new clothing, medical care, and education.

With the COVID-19 pandemic and borders re-closing in the countries that we operate in, travel has been impossible within certain countries. Due to these lockdowns and other unforeseen challenges, CRI has decided to reevaluate and reassess our SurvivorCare Program in order to better serve the needs of our rescued children.

During this time of restructuring, we’re transitioning into a new model that is focused on a centralized location. We believe this model will be more conducive to our SurvivorCare teams and will allow the children better opportunities.

Among these new opportunities, we have the potential to collaborate with partners in other organizations who will help us reach our goal of offering rescued children better programs for their overall healing.

Moving Forward

Our Goals Include

Mental Health

Providing the children a safe place to share and process through trauma while given the tools and resources they need to heal emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically.

Life Skills

Empowering rescued children to become self-sufficient by teaching them skills that are practical and necessary in dealing effectively with the demands and challenges of life.

Vocational Training

Offering teenagers the opportunity to learn a specialized skill as they transition into adulthood in order to help them become successful, independent adults.

Recreation

Providing recreational activities to encourage health and wellness, build endurance, promote teamwork, and strengthen the child’s self-esteem.

Mentorship

Walking with each child through their personal journey of healing, restoration, growth, and empowerment.

Scholarships

Networking with partners to offer scholarships to our survivors who wish to further their education.

We look forward to building a more holistic SurvivorCare program and carrying out our vision to Rescue, Restore, and Raise Up™ victims of slavery and human trafficking both in the U.S. and across the world.
